A bungalow sets its sights higher . . . on a second story addition. A master bedroom with his and her closets, an en suite, a conveniently located laundry room, kids' bedrooms replete with playrooms and their own bathroom, elevates this home to a whole new level. There's more. The newly renovated main floor lets the family be together while cooking dinner in the kitchen as kids do their homework in the dining room or simply relax in the family room. Added patio doors extend living into their backyard oasis. It feels good to stay home!

A rose in the heart of Flowertown. A house neglected for years finally blooms. We did an extensive home renovation from the bottom up and behind the house we went the extra yard creating an oasis in the middle of a city. A century home that hasn't lost its feeling for tradition but gained modern sensibilities.

Kids grow up and so does the house . . . up another story for a third floor couples retreat: an oversized master bedroom, a cozy corner to curl up and read a book, a glass of wine by the fire. The luxury bathroom with finishes true to the character of a beautiful Victorian home completes this quiet sanctuary.

Century home goes bright and airy. There is nothing basic about this American Four Square. Completely renovated for modern family living. Removing structural walls opened up rooms creating large gathering places. A beautiful new inside with the original handsome heritage exterior. A big park-like backyard with mature trees right in the heart of the city. The best of both worlds.

Elevate your staircase . . . and your style. There's nothing suburban about this home. Remodelled from a basic builder's house to a stunning foyer with a spiral staircase welcoming family and friends into an inviting reception room, a quietly elegant dining room and a cook's upgraded yet functional kitchen, all rebuilt by the Oakridge Team - floors, cabinetry, crown molding and so much more.

Sold in two days . . . get the most for your home. When it's time to sell, it's time to renovate. That was the case here. We fully upgraded the wiring from knob and tube to today's building code standards. In the demolition process we found asbestos in some of the building materials. We hired a certified company to remove the asbestos professionally. Now we could get down to the finishes - 5" hand-scraped wood floors, capped stairs and new railings. New kitchen, plumbing fixtures, doors and trim. A place you want to come home to and relax... or show off to family and friends!

Form follows function . . . with cupboards, cupboards, cupboards, a place for everything and everything in its place. New cabinetry and mill work almost make you forget what work was done behind the scenes. Relocating drain lines and venting, rough-in plumbing, gas lines, DRIcore to cement floors and new electrical wiring. The grey basement once storage, now brightly lit with pot lights is a place for a young family to work and play in, and keep tidy. Oh, did we mention the new kitchen?

"Tear down this wall" . . . and let there be space. Removing a structural wall created space for a great room and a kitchen island to gather round. Hardwood, where once there were tiles, was seemlessly matched to existing flooring and a doorway relocated to make way for this new open concept. Lots more storage space keeps things organized. A modest 1950's kitchen grows up with a modern, polished look in this transformed transitional kitchen.

Not a cabin in the woods. "I saw the constellations reveal themselves, one star at a time ". It could have been the stars as The Tragically Hip so famously sang. Up at the lake there is that "big sky". Anyway what started as an idea of a cabin in the woods became a longing to wake up every morning and sit on the dock watching the loons disappear into the silky water. That meant a great room, a kitchen to gather in, a big tub to soak in, well all the luxuries of living in the big city. Hence the house. We were there, bringing their dream to life.

Room to breathe . . . two + two = an addition. When this family expanded by two, so did the couple's desire to have a place of their own. That's where we came in. A two story addition complete with an expansive master bedroom and large en suite afforded them the privacy they were looking for. Sitting on their new 20 foot deck, they can watch the sun set over the rolling hills. Of course, this is only after a hard day's work in the new office below.
